"IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHERE YOU'RE GOING, YOU'RE LIKELY TO END UP SOMEWHERE ELSE."

What does quality technology integration look like?

Exemplary Technology Use.

Think back to remember your most favorite teachers. Did you learn the most from them? What was different about those teachers? Now think about using technology. Can any of those characteristics you talked about with your favorite teachers be applied to how they would use technology? During this week, we will be discussing what makes technology use exemplary. Should we always use technology? Are there situations when technology is not helpful, or even sometimes hurtful?

Steps and Description

2. Share Outstanding Technology Integration Ideas. We will be starting this on a weekly basis. This means that every time you come to class, you need to being a new idea of how to use technology in your classroom. You can document this in your blog, but we will be sharing as a class every week.

Also, make sure to post your idea to the wiki if you haven't already. Your idea is due at the end of this class. If you haven't already, make sure to register for all the software posted in last week's outline. Also, make sure to sign-up for one of the topics in our w210 wiki space by 1/23. If you don't see one that you'd like to present on, please add it.
