Syllabus
Course Description
This is a course which aims to lead the learners to appreciation not only to literary works but also to the understanding of diverse cultures and values associated in it. It also aims the learners to be acquainted with the classical as well as contemporary literary works and the authors. The course also aims the learners to express themselves creatively through both written and unwritten works which will exhibit their creativity and ideals in life.
Course Objectives
- To expand students’ knowledge of the human condition and human
cultures, especially in relation to behavior, ideas, and values
expressed in works of human imagination and thought
- To form aesthetic judgments
- To analyze the logical connections among the elements of the literary text to generate a more thorough understanding, interpretation, and evaluation of the literary text
- To improve their ability to organize and present their work to
others
